This painting is watercolour on Arches 300 GSM medium watercolour paper and I must really thank Mike Bov of Redbubble for letting me use his beautiful photo "Lamplit Alleyway" [link] as reference.

The light is duller since it's a watercolor painting, but it's a wonderful reproduction of the image.

It has a different feel as a painting. May I ask what type of paper you used for this?

Yes, it's not as bright as the original, as you say, because it's a watercolour, also it was very hard to take a photo of it and get it right!
