Your artwork is amazing! :D

Sorry for asking such a beginner question: Is there a difference between (regular?) watercolour and transparent watercolour. Also, the colours seem quite intense and saturated. Did you achieve this by using only a bit of water with your watercolor oder did you build up many, many layers? I don't have a lot of experience with watercolor yet, but unlike gouache I find watercolor very difficult for working with a brighter colour on top of a darker one, as the darker one always shines through when I do it. Yet some of the gras on the left hand side seems to be done on top of a darker color, so i guess the watercolour was used with very little water here?
As I said, I don't have a lot of experience with watercolour, so it would be very helpfull to me :)
