Are you at your daughter's place now? Or have you been and returned?
It's 32 degrees C at the mo. too bloody hot for me. Our daughter and her husband have just returned from the local animal park where they tried to pet a kangaroo or two, but they weren't interested, probably too hot! We've got storms due, I say, roll on the rain!!!!
I'm up at my daughter's as of yesterday (terrible journey up, traffic pretty well jammed all the way up the motorways, and we were both exhausted when we arrived). Going home after the New Year.
That sounds so funny trying to pet kangaroos! They can give a very nasty punch with their back feet if they choose to as well! Reminds me of when Kaz was little and she tried to get alongside one, it ran and ran, and she chased it, then it just hopped over the fence, and she was completely bewildered! So funny!!!
My husband is trying to find out what is wrong with our bedroom fan. It's 32 degrees Celsius and that means bloody hot and can stay hot at night too. The fan has a knocking sound when it's on, not nice for a delicate little thing like me. He'll sleep through anything except me puffing and moaning over a knocking fan.
So, bless him, there he is slaving over a hot fan.
Oh my.. i understand how you feel! Im pretty sensitive with those kind of things too.. Once, i removed the batteries of an analog clock coz its ticking sound makes me and cranky! cant sleep too if my fan makes sounds.. i have a very quiet fan, thankfully..
