The swimmer

This painting is a commission for a client who wanted a painting to go between two windows.
It's acrylic on stretched canvas, image size: 217x75cm

I asked my husband to take a photo of me standing next to this painting, just to give an idea of how enormous it is.
And I'm not short!!!!

I was a bit daunted when I saw the size of the canvas, but found the best way to paint it was side ways on my drawing board. I simply rolled alongside the canvas on my wheeled office chair, pulling my trolley, which holds all my paints, along with me.
